grazing as practice (2023) is a performance-installation centered on the dining table as a site of ecological relation, ritual, and collective life. Plant matter was cultivated across a suspended cheesecloth table covering before being activated through a twenty-minute performance in which the performer slowly consumed the living textile to an ambient sound composition. Treating grazing as both an ecological process and a performative gesture, the work considers the table as a shared commons where cultivation, consumption, and collaboration with more-than-human systems converge. Through the gradual transformation of living material into embodied action, the installation explores cycles of growth, care, feeding, and decay.
